The Golden Age of Infancy

I can't believe our baby is six months old today. I was just thinking the other day that it has been over a year since I found out I was pregnant. Back then it seemed like March would never come. Time really does fly when you're having fun!

(Make sure your volume is turned up!)

Six Month Stats:

Weight: 14 lbs 6 ounces

Height: 25 3/4 inches

Head Circumference: 16 3/4 inches

She is still a tiny little peanut for her age but she is growing more and more everyday. The doctor was quite impressed when Hannah was crawling across the table when she came in to examine her. We discussed the things that Hannah knows how to do and how this age is called "the golden age of infancy" since the babies are so alert and interactive. She quickly said, "You need to go home and baby proof your house...NOW!" Hannah is crawling everywhere, can sit up by herself, and reaches for everything. She is very good at quickly grabbing your plate or cup. She is eating more and more food. This week she tried applesauce for the first time. She is pure joy and I can't imagine life without her.

Oh my gosh! My little sweetheart is growing up so fast. I'm sitting here crying from watching the six month video. I can't wait to see you again Hannah!

Love,

Grandpa
