Yesterday we went to our local orchard to pick strawberries. We have come to love this place and last summer and fall we picked many fresh berries and pumpkins. It is the beginning of strawberry season and we took advantage of having a day with no rain and went picking. This was the first time Hannah was able to actually pick the berries but she was more interested in watching the people around us! We will be making many trips to the orchard this year! 
We also cut some fresh lettuce.

Are you guys just going to eat the strawberries, or are you going to make strawberry jam, strawberry sauce for ice cream, homemade strawberry ice cream...hmm, what else could you do with them? I saw an old Kazakh lady selling strawberries out of the trunk of her car yesterday. I almost bought some, but didn't. I should've!
