Hannah's Baby

Hannah got several baby dolls for Christmas but she has just now found them to be of interest. She loves to play with her baby and take it up and down the stairs with her. She is also very good at giving her baby kisses and hugs! Her baby is one of the only ways we can get her to walk. We bribe her with it and then when she makes it to us we throw it to the person sitting across the room. Are we mean or what?!

Belated Valentine's Day Box

Grammy sent Hannah a Valentine's Box that arrived a few days late.
She really enjoyed the books. Thanks Grammy!

Science Project

A few nights ago Hannah and I did a science experiment (well...about as scientific as an eleven month old can get!). I filled one tub with warm water and one tub with cold water and ice cubes. Hannah put her hands in the water and we talked about hot and cold. She loved it, especially putting her face down in the water! Burrrrr!!

Hannah loves playing with Kyle when he gets home from work. The other day he was tired from a several mile run he went on at lunch so he laid down on the floor. Hannah laid down right beside him! So cute!

Hannah also is very interested in Kyle's stubble that is on his chin when he gets home. She always wants to touch it and yesterday she even wanted to taste it. Gross!

Valentine's Day Zoo Trip

On Valentine's Day we met our friends Chad, Elissa, and Amelia at the zoo. Elissa and Kyle grew up in the same church in Colorado Springs and they now live in Boston. They happened to be in town this weekend so we met up and took advantage of our great (and free!) zoo that we have here in Washington D.C. Hannah was much more into the animals this time and she was very interested once baby Amelia woke up!

A Mouth Wide Open...

Today we had a record high of 71 degrees! We took advantage of the warm air and went to the park. Hannah had a great time and threw a fit when we had to go home...oh, are we in for some fun times down the road or what?? A mouth wide open must be a sign of fun!
