Blueberry Picking

On my mom's last day here we got up early and went to the orchard to pick blueberries.  Even though we went early, it was still very hot.  As always, Hannah loved it and even though she stole some out of the bucket we still managed to bring home 5 pounds to eat!

 

Strawberry Picking

Yesterday we went to our local orchard to pick strawberries. We have come to love this place and last summer and fall we picked many fresh berries and pumpkins. It is the beginning of strawberry season and we took advantage of having a day with no rain and went picking. This was the first time Hannah was able to actually pick the berries but she was more interested in watching the people around us! We will be making many trips to the orchard this year!

We also cut some fresh lettuce.
