Look Who is 3 Months Old!

Sadie is 3 months old today.  I just can’t believe how fast the time is flying by.  She spent her 3 month birthday with Daddy while mom was at jury duty (fun, fun).  Here are some things she is doing these days:
* Sleeping!  She has been sleeping through the night for about 5 weeks now.  She takes a 3-4 hour nap in the morning and a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon.  She goes to bed around 7:30 each night and wakes up around 7:00 each morning.  She’s really settled into a routine and loves to sleep- which makes everyone around here VERY happy!
* Grabbing on to her toys.  She likes to lay on her play mat and grab the bee that Hannah got her.
* Sticking out her tongue.
* Smiling!  This girl LOVES to smile (see pics below).
* Moving!  Sadie’s legs are incredibly strong.  I don’t know if this is normal for a 3 month old or not (I remember Hannah having strong legs too, but Sadie seems to be stronger).  She can move herself around the floor with her legs.  She arches her back and pushes herself around.  I thought child #2 would be a little more docile…it appears not.  Sigh.
* Sucking her thumb.  She hates the paci but she loves her thumb.  I know I should start discouraging it soon so we don’t end up with a 10 year old thumb sucker, but it is so cute right now.  She has been able to find her thumb since she was about a week old and has always liked it.

Here she is up to her normal shenanigans!  She started on the play mat and 5 minutes later I went to check on her and this is how she was.  Crazy, crazy girl.
